Liz's Gingerbread Cookies Gwen Wiliams

1 cup molasses
1 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
1 tespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ginger
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup boiling water
5 cups flour
Cream molasses, sugar, and margarine. Add hot water and mix well. Sift dry ingredents.
Add to sugar mixture. roll out 1/4 inch thick. Cut in desired shapes. Bake at 350 until botoms are barely brown.
